CSB Membership Drive

Seeking Participants

The Arlington County Community Services Board (ACCSB) is seeking to expand community engagement with a goal of having persons with multiple points of view and experiences providing input and feedback about behavioral health services for children, youth, and adults; aging and developmental disability services; and substance use services.

The ACCSB aspires to have representation from each neighborhood and civic association in Arlington.

What is the ACCSB?

The Arlington County Community Services Board consists of community members appointed to oversee services provided by the Department of Human Services to persons challenged by mental health, developmental disabilities and substance use.

The ACCSB and its committees (Child and Youth, Developmental Disabilities, Mental Health, and Substance Use) provide the principal forums for residents and consumers of services to review, comment on, and influence the direction of those services.

The ACCSB acts as an advocate, educator, community organizer and community planner for services.

Monthly meetings consist of data reviews, updates on services, and feedback from community members.
