eligible dependents, you must make this change in PRISM+ during Open Enrollment.
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) participants must re-enroll during Open Enrollment
to if they need to replenish funds in an FSA for July 1st.

  • Make your changes in PRISM+ from May 11th through May 29th (11:59 pm).

Biweekly Insurance Premiums

All medical and dental insurance premiums are increasing. Please review the FY27 Employee Biweekly Premium Rate Chart(PDF, 123KB)

Plan Design Changes for Cigna Plans

All three Cigna plans have plan design changes that impact the out-of-pocket cost for employees. Coinsurance and copays are increasing. Every Cigna plan now has an annual deductible that will have to be met in 2026.

A full list of changes for FY27 is available in the Employee Benefits Guide.  Please review this information and the information on AC Commons to help determine what plan may be the best fit for you and your family, if applicable.

Separate Cigna Plans for members of the Fire Bargaining Unit IAFF Local 2800

Members of IAFF Local 2800 have separate and different plan from other active employees.  These bargaining unit members must review the Cigna plans labeled "FIRE BU."  PRISM has been programmed so the Fire BU members can only elect the Cigna plans that pertain to their contract.  Please note the biweekly premium rates(PDF, 123KB)  are the same for Fire BU and other active employees who enroll in Cigna.

Health Care & Limited Purpose Flexible Spending Accounts

Annual maximum increases to $3,400; with the ability to carry over up to $680 of unspent funds from FY27 into FY28.

Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA)

The maximum election amount increases to $7,500 per IRS regulations. The County will reimburse employees for 50% of their Dependent Care FSA election, up to a maximum of $2,000.
Enroll in PRISM+ with the total amount you need for the entire fiscal year ($7,500 per family maximum). PRISM+ will calculate the County reimbursement and provide these funds in your pay slips after July 1st.
