New Location for May 4th County Board Town Hall: Central Library

The Arlington County Board welcomes the public to attend, or register to speak at, its upcoming townhall on Monday, May 4, 2026. The Board will now host its townhall at the Central Library Auditorium (1015 N Quincy St, Arlington, VA 22201). Public comment will begin at 6:30PM, conclude at 8:30PM, and will be followed by Board member responses.  

Members of the public interested in speaking may register here. Online registration closes at 3PM the business day prior (May 1, 2026). In-person registration closes at 6PM, 30 minutes before the townhall commences.  

Other general procedures of the meeting will be as follows:  

  • Each speaker will receive 2 minutes;  
  • There are no limits on number of speakers per topic;  
  • Only two hours will be provided for public testimony;  
  • Speakers will be called in the order they registered;  
  • Board Office staff will display submitted materials, but this will only occur during speaking time; and  
  • Reasonable accommodations are available on request.
