Leading the Charge in GovTech Innovation Amid Federal Budget Cuts and Workforce Transitions

ARLINGTON, VA — June 17–18, 2025 —CivStart, a nonprofit innovation hub dedicated to advancing state and local government technology, in partnership with Arlington County, is gearing up for a groundbreaking State of GovTech event in Arlington, Virginia, on June 17–18, 2025. This event will bring together top government officials, tech innovators, and industry leaders to discuss the future of government technology, explore innovative solutions to challenges, and drive new ways of doing more with less.

The State of GovTech event will feature expert speakers, hands-on demonstrations, and discussions on how governments at the local and state levels are embracing technological innovation to boost operational efficiency and increase service delivery — all while working with fewer resources due to shifting priorities at the federal level.
