Police and Community Unite for National Night Out 2025
Published on June 05, 2025
ARLINGTON, Va. – The Arlington County Police Department (ACPD) invites Arlington neighborhoods, businesses and organizations to join communities across the country in hosting National Night Out (NNO) events on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
NNO, held annually on the first Tuesday of August, aims to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Meet law enforcement and public safety personnel as well as local government officials at cookouts, block parties and ice cream socials around the County for an evening of positive relationship-building and fun!
Use NNO as a reminder to secure your home and belongings by practicing the 9 P.M. Routine. Make sure to lock your doors, close your garages and turn on your porch lights and security systems before heading out to celebrate with your neighbors!
ACPD can’t wait to see you in August for National Night Out!

NNO is an opportunity to celebrate your neighborhood! All events are hosted by neighborhood organizations, community groups and/or businesses.
