Police Investigate Fatal Vehicle Crash near Pentagon

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Arlington County Police Department is investigating a fatal vehicle crash which occurred on the evening of May 3, 2025.

At approximately 11:20 p.m., police were dispatched to SB Route 110 at Washington Boulevard for the report of a crash with injuries. The preliminary investigation indicates the driver of a BMW sedan was traveling southbound on Route 110 at a high rate of speed when they struck a Lexus, resulting in minor damage, before exiting the roadway and striking a concrete barrier.

The three occupants of the BMW, all juvenile males in their teens, were transported to area hospitals. The two passengers succumbed to their injuries and both were pronounced deceased at the hospital. The driver remains hospitalized in critical condition. No injuries were reported to the occupants of the Lexus.

The identities of the deceased are being withheld in accordance with Virginia Code § 19.2-11.2 which limits Virginia law enforcement agencies from directly or indirectly identifying deceased juveniles.
