Arlington Economic Development’s (AED) BizLaunch division is proud to support the resilience and growth of Arlington’s small business community. Through partnerships like the National Landing ReLaunch program, AED has helped longstanding businesses navigate challenges and continue contributing to Arlington’s vibrant economy.
A shining example of this success is Crystal Boutique, a local women’s clothing shop founded in 1970. Forced to relocate after the closure of the Crystal City Underground, Crystal Boutique embraced innovation and utilized resources such as the ReLaunch program and AED’s Commercial Market Resiliency Initiative. Today, the boutique has transformed office space into a chic retail destination at 2231 Crystal Drive, doubling its footprint and enhancing its shopping experience.
Along with the ribbon-cutting ceremony, enjoy a trunk show and pre-season spring sale as we honor a legacy business that has been a cornerstone of the Arlington community for more than 50 years. This event underscores AED and BizLaunch’s dedication to fostering small-business success, showcasing how partnerships and innovative programs strengthen our local economy.
Crystal Boutique joins other businesses that have successfully transitioned through the support of BizLaunch and the ReLaunch program, including Ship’s Hatch, Digital Recollections and Arlington Artists Alliance.
