REPORTS
ATTEMPTED MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2025-03260193, 1200 block of S. Joyce Street. At approximately 5:09 p.m. on March 26, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the two juvenile male suspects entered the business, collected merchandise and exited the store without payment. An employee confronted the suspects outside the business during which Suspect Two discharged pepper spray which did not make contact with the victim. Both suspects then fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast and responding officers located two individuals matching the description of the suspects in the 1200 block of S. Hayes Street and took them into custody. Petitions for Suspect One were obtained for Shoplifting and Conspiracy to Commit a Felony. Petitions for Suspect Two were obtained for Attempted Malicious Wounding and Shoplifting.
ROBBERY, 2025-03260208, 5500 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 5:43 p.m. on March 26, police were dispatched to the report of a dispute. Upon arrival, it was determined the female victim and male suspect, who are known to each other, were inside a residence when they became involved in a verbal dispute during which the suspect grabbed the victim’s arm and stole her keys before exiting the home and fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported. The investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
