REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2025-03240105, 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 12:43 p.m. on March 24, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, collected merchandise and attempted to exit without payment during which he was confronted by an employee. The suspect then made threatening statements and brushed past the employee before exiting the store and fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast and responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a thin-build Black male in his mid-20’s with mid-length dreadlocks wearing a black hoodie, black pants and white shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2025-03240177, 4900 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 8:03 p.m. on March 24, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the female suspect and male suspect entered the business during which the female suspect collected merchandise and attempted to exit without payment. An employee confronted the suspects and the male suspect made threatening statements towards the employee before both suspects exited the store and fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast and responding officers canvassed the area for the suspects yielding negative results. The female suspect is described as a heavy-set Black female, approximately 5’4”, 30-35 years old with black hair wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jacket and darks jeans. The male suspect is described as a thin-build Black male, approximately 5’9”, 35-40 years old with black hair wearing all black clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2025-03220025, 300 block of N. Oakland Street. At approximately 4:49 a.m. on March 22, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the victims were inside their residence when they heard a noise and upon further investigation, observed the male suspect on their property. One of the victims confronted the suspect, who subsequently fled the scene. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a bald Black male, approximately 6’0” wearing glasses and a black winter coat. The investigation is ongoing.
ATTEMPTED UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2025-03240137, 6000 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 4:05 p.m. on March 24, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect attempted to make entry into the victim’s occupied residence before entering a shed on the property and attempting to steal a toy. The victim then confronted the suspect, who subsequently fled the scene on foot. The suspect is described as Black male with glasses, approximately 20-30 years old wearing all black clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY (late), 2025-03240048, 3100 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 8:25 a.m. on March 24, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary just discovered. It was determined between approximately 11:00 p.m. on March 23 and 8:00 a.m. on March 24, the suspect(s) made entry into the closed business, damaged a safe and stole an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
