REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2025-04020013, 4200 block of Fairfax Drive. At approximately 1:22 a.m. on April 2, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business and asked an employee for cigarettes behind the counter. The suspect then grabbed the cigarettes from the employee’s hand, made threatening statements and fled the scene. No injuries were reported. Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a tall Black male, approximately 50-60 years old with a short gray beard, wearing all black clothing, a face covering and white shoes. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY (late), 2025-03310143, 3500 block of Washington Boulevard. On March 31, police received an online report for a breaking and entering. It was reported that on March 25 at approximately 1:55 a.m., the male suspect forced entry into a residential building and made entry into the laundry room where he used tools to steal coins from a machine, stole packages and subsequently fled the scene on foot. There is no suspect description available. The investigation is ongoing.
