TRAFFIC ALERT: Road Closures for Summer Bark Bash UPDATED

Updated (07/31/24) - The event organizer has postponed the Summer Bark Bash event to Sunday, September 29, 2024. The below road closures have been updated to reflect that they will occur on September 29.
ARLINGTON, Va. (Originally published 07/26/24) – The Arlington County Police Department will conduct road closures on Sunday, September 29 to accommodate the Summer Bark Bash. The following roadways will be closed from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to accommodate the event:
- S. Nelson Street between S. Four Mile Run Drive and S. Oakland Street
- S. Oakland Street between S. Four Mile Run Drive and S. Nelson Street
Additional road closures not mentioned above may be implemented at police discretion in the interest of public safety. Street parking in these areas will be restricted. Motorists should be on the lookout for temporary “No Parking” signs and illegally parked vehicles may be ticketed or towed. If your vehicle is towed, please use the online portal to find out the status of your vehicle and where it is located. The online portal is updated in real time. If you cannot locate your vehicle or need additional support using the online portal, call the County non-emergency number at 703-558-2222.
