REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2024-08300097, 900 block of Army Navy Drive. At approximately 1:20 p.m. on August 30, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, allegedly concealed merchandise and exited the store without payment. An employee confronted the suspect outside the business during which the suspect struck them before fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast, and a responding officer located an individual matching the description of the suspect in the area and took him into custody. Anthony Lamons, 31, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Robbery. He was held without bond.

VEHICLE TAMPERING, 2024-09020039, 1200 block of S. Frederick Street. At approximately 10:21 a.m. on September 2, police were dispatched to a vehicle tampering. Upon arrival, it was determined a witness allegedly observed the male suspect attempt to open the door of a parked vehicle. Responding officers located the suspect at 12th Street S. and S. Frederick Street and detained him. During a search incident to arrest, burglarious tools were recovered. The suspect was non-compliant and refused to identify himself during the investigation. He was later identified and determined to be wanted by other jurisdictions. Wilson Jordan Quiroga, 35, of Springfield, VA was arrested and charged with Vehicle Tampering, Obstruction of Justice and Possession of Burglarious Tools.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2024-08310034, N. Randolph Street at Fairfax Drive. At approximately 3:02 a.m. on August 31, police were dispatched to the report of an indecent exposure. Upon arrival it was determined that the male suspect allegedly approached the female victim at a bus stop and exposed himself. Responding officers located the suspect at the scene and he was detained. Devin Hoerauf, 37, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure (3+ Offenses in 10 Years) and Public Masturbation.

ROBBERY, 2024-09010100, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 3:33 p.m. on September 1, police were dispatched to the report of shots heard. Upon arrival, officers determined no shooting occurred and the incident was a robbery. The investigation indicated three suspects in their teens approached a business during which Suspect One deployed a fire extinguisher inside the store and Suspects Two and Three smashed a glass display case with hammers. The suspects then stole jewelry from the business before fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspects yielding negative results. The three suspects are described as thin-build Black males, approximately 5’7”, 16-18 years old wearing all black clothing. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY, 2024-08310191, 200 block of N. Glebe Road. At approximately 9:51 p.m. on August 31, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business and asked an employee to view merchandise. The suspect then grabbed the merchandise from the employee, exited the store without payment and fled the scene on foot. The suspect is described as a heavy-set Hispanic male, approximately 5’0” wearing a white hoodie and blue pants. The investigation is ongoing.
