REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2024-11070134, 900 block of N. Stafford Street. At approximately 2:34 p.m. on November 7, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male suspect entered the business and inquired about purchasing merchandise. The suspect then threatened an employee with a knife, stole cigarettes and subsequently fled the scene on foot. Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male in his 30s, wearing a grey beanie, black face covering, white t-shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY (late), 2024-11070034, 1700 block of N. Troy Street. At approximately 6:52 a.m. on November 7, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined that in the overnight hours, the suspect(s) forced entry into the business by breaking a window, stole power tools and electronics and subsequently fled the scene. There are no suspect(s) descriptions available at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
