REPORTS
ATTEMPTED UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2024-06250051, 4800 block of Washington Boulevard. At approximately 8:37 a.m. on June 25, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined that the female suspect allegedly tried to enter the victims’ home but was unsuccessful. The suspect then opened the door of the victim’s vehicle in the driveway. The suspect remained at the scene and was detained by responding officers. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the suspect had also entered the victim’s residence and vehicle on June 20, 2024. The victim reported to the Office of the Magistrate, completed a criminal complaint and warrants were issued for the incidents occurring on June 20 and 25. Audrey Gill, 39, of Tuskegee, AL was arrested and charged with Attempted Unlawful Entry (x2) and Entering or Setting in Motion Vehicle (x2).
ROBBERY, 2024-06250003, 1600 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 12:09 a.m. on June 25, police were dispatched to the possible report of a person with a gun. Upon arrival it was determined that two female suspects entered the business with two children, collected items and left the store without payment. When confronted by an employee, one of the suspects pushed and spat at the employee. The suspects then entered a vehicle and threw an object, believed to be a glass bottle, at the store’s door causing property damage, and fled the scene in a silver SUV. The preliminary investigation determined no firearm was involved in the incident. A lookout was broadcast and responding officers canvassed the area yielding negative results. The suspects are described as two Black females. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2024-06250109, 700 block of N. Glebe Road. At approximately 11:50 a.m. on June 25, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, concealed merchandise and attempted to exit without payment when he was confronted by loss prevention personnel. The suspect then shoved loss prevention personnel before exiting the store and fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’10”-6’0” with long brown hair wearing a maroon shirt, khaki pants and a black backpack. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2024-06250165, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 3:48 p.m. on June 25, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined the four juvenile suspects entered the business and began collecting merchandise during which one suspect made threatening statements towards an employee. The employee then called police and the suspects exited the store without payment. The suspects are described as three juvenile Black females and one juvenile Black male. The investigation is ongoing.
