REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2024-06150120, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 2:22 p.m. on June 15, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the female suspect was exiting the store when the security sensors alerted an employee. The employee confronted the suspect during which she struck the employee before exiting and fleeing the scene on foot. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black female, approximately 5’8”, 130 pounds, with long black hair and a white t-shirt. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY, 2024-06150128, 2600 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 3:19 p.m. on June 15, police were dispatched to the report of disorderly conduct.  Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business when an employee recognized him from a prior interaction and confronted him while utilizing a self-checkout kiosk. The suspect then made threatening statements towards the employee and exited the business without payment. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male in his 30’s. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY, 2024-06150181, 1300 block of S. Joyce Street. At approximately 9:50 p.m. on June 15, police were dispatched to the report of an assault with injury. Upon arrival, it was determined the two female suspects stole the female victim’s credits cards and personal belongings from a back room inside a business and fled the scene. The female victim received alerts for fraudulent activity on her credit card and upon further investigation, she observed the two female suspects outside of a business in possession of her personal belongings. The victim confronted the suspects and a physical altercation ensued. The suspects then ran from the area. The victim sustained minor injuries and medics evaluated and released her on scene. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspects yielding negative results. The suspects are described as Black females. The investigation is ongoing.
