REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2024-07210047, 400 block of 23rd Street S. At approximately 5:45 a.m. on July 21, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the three male suspects entered the business during which Suspect One jumped over the counter and an employee confronted him. The suspect implied a weapon and along with Suspects Two and Three, stole two cash drawers from the registers and cartons of cigarettes. When the employee attempted to confront the suspects again, Suspect One lunged at him and all three suspects subsequently exited the store and fled the scene in a red sedan. No injuries were reported. Suspect One is described as a Black male, approximately 20-30 years old wearing a black shirt, white pants, white shoes and a black face covering. Suspect Two is described as a Black male, approximately 20-30 years old wearing a black hoodie, light-colored shorts, black shoes and black face covering. Suspect Three is described as a heavy-set Black male, approximately 20-30 years old wearing a black shirt, black shorts, white shoes and a black face covering. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2024-07220137, 1200 block of S. Fern Street. At approximately 3:09 p.m. on July 22, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the two male suspects entered the business, broke glass display cases with a hammer and collected merchandise before exiting the store without payment. As the suspects were exiting, one suspect threatened an employee with the hammer before fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. Suspect One is described as a thin-build Black male, approximately 5’5”-5’6”, 21-25 years old with a beard wearing a black hoodie, black jeans and white sneakers. Suspect Two is described as a thin-build Black male, 5’6”-5’8”, 21-25 years old with black dreadlocks wearing a white sweatshirt, black jeans, white sneakers, sunglasses and a blue backpack. The investigation is ongoing.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 2024-07220168, 900 block of Army Navy Drive. At approximately 5:24 p.m. on July 22, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, concealed merchandise and was attempting to leave the store when he was confronted by loss prevention personnel. The suspect then shoved loss prevention personnel, returned the merchandise and fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a light-skin Black male, bald, approximately 5’10”, 40-50 years old, wearing a white shirt, tan shorts, black shoes and a black backpack. The investigation is ongoing.
