REPORTS
MISSILE INTO OCCUPIED VEHICLE, 2024-07120238, S. Glebe Road at 19th Street S. At approximately 11:37 p.m. on July 12, police were dispatched to the report of a destruction of property. The preliminary investigation indicates the occupants of two vehicles were involved in a dispute over driving during which the suspect vehicle pulled alongside the victim’s vehicle and the passenger allegedly threw an unknown object at the victim’s vehicle. The suspect vehicle, described as a black sedan, then fled the scene. The suspect is described as a white-Hispanic female with black hair and approximately 20 – 30 years old. The investigation is ongoing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2024-07150022, 3400 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 2:48 a.m. on July 15, police were dispatched to the report of suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, it was determined the female victim was inside her apartment when she heard the door open. She yelled out and the male suspect left the apartment, leaving personal property behind. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.
ATTEMPTED UNLAWFUL ENTRY (late), 2024-07150101, 2100 block of N. Westmoreland Street. At approximately 12:23 p.m. on July 15, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined at approximately 12:30 a.m., the male suspect attempted to gain entry into a secured parking garage. After being unable to gain access, the suspect fled the scene on a bike. No property damage was reported. The suspect is described as a white male with a thin build, 16 to 20 years old and approximately 5’5” to 5’7” tall. The investigation is ongoing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY (late), 2024-07150177, 2100 block of N. Westmoreland Street. At approximately 8:14 p.m. on July 15, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined at approximately 8:45 a.m., the male suspect forced entry into a secure residential parking garage. When verbally confronted by employees, the suspect fled the scene on foot. No property damage was reported. The suspect is described as a Black male, wearing a dark colored shirt, white pants, and black shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
