REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2024-01180201, 700 block of N. Glebe Road. At approximately 6:00 p.m. on January 18, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, collected merchandise and attempted to exit the store without payment during which loss prevention personnel confronted him. The suspect then struck loss prevention personnel before fleeing the scene on foot. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male wearing all black clothing. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing. 

ROBBERY, 2024-01180210, 2900 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 7:03 p.m. on January 18, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined two female suspects entered the business and collected merchandise during which an employee confronted them. One suspect made threatening statements towards the employee before both suspects exited the store without payment and fled the scene in a black vehicle. The suspects are described as Black females in their late 20’s wearing black coats. The investigation is ongoing.
