REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2024-08280194, 4100 block of S. Four Mile Run. At approximately 10:45 p.m. on August 28, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival it was determined that the two female victims were each at their parked vehicles when the male suspect approached Victim One, brandished a firearm and stole her cash. The suspect then approached Victim Two, brandished a firearm and demanded cash. Victim Two yelled and the suspect fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male in his 30s, approximately 5’10”-5’11”, 170 pounds with a muscular build, short hair, and facial hair wearing all dark clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2024-08280041, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 3:51 p.m. on August 28, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival it was determined the male victim was inside a parking garage when the male suspect approached and demanded his jewelry. When the victim refused, the suspect brandished a firearm and stole the victim’s jewelry before leaving the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male, 18-21 years of age, approximately 6’2” and 170 pounds with a short afro and a blue face covering, wearing a white t-shirt, black pants and white sneakers. The investigation is ongoing.
