REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2023-12140109, 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 11:36 a.m. on December 14, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, collected merchandise, and allegedly attempted to leave the store without payment. Loss prevention personnel confronted the suspect during which he pushed them, discarded the merchandise and fled the scene on foot. Responding officers located the suspect in the Metro and took him into custody without incident. During a search of his person incident to arrest, suspected drug paraphernalia was recovered. Emmanuel Hart, 27, of Oakton, Va. was arrested and charged with Robbery and Possession of Schedule I/II Controlled Substance.
ASSAULT BY MOB/ROBBERY, 2023-12140229, 4100 block of 3rd Road N. At approximately 8:32 p.m. on December 14, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the juvenile male victim was walking in the area when he was approached from behind by approximately two to four male suspects who assaulted him and stole his cellphone and personal property before leaving the scene. Responding officers established a perimeter and canvassed the area for the suspects yielding negative results. The victim reported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The suspects are described as Black males. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2023-12140090, 4200 block of Fairfax Drive. At approximately 10:28 a.m. on December 14, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was sitting outside when he was approached by the unknown male suspect. The suspect made threatening statements, implied a weapon, demanded the victim’s cigarettes and stole them before fleeing the scene on foot. Responding officers established a perimeter and canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male in his 40’s with a muscular-build, approximately 5’9”, 200 pounds with facial hair wearing a jacket, blue jeans and a beanie. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2023-12150013, 2300 block of 2nd Street S. At approximately 12:57 a.m. on December 15, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, selected merchandise and displayed a knife before he exited the store without payment and fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast and officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male wearing all black clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
ATTEMPTED UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2023-12140008, 1000 block of S. Frederick Street. At approximately 12:31 a.m. on December 14, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined the victim was inside her residence when she awoke to the sound of her dog barking and upon further investigation and observed her door partially open. The victim then secured the door and called police. No entry was made into the home. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.
