REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2022-12110163, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 3:38 p.m. on December 11, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the four unknown suspects approached the two male victims and asked about purchasing one of the victim’s sneakers. The victim declined and the groups separated. The suspects later reapproached the victims and demanded their property, during which two of the suspects lifted their shirts to display firearms in their waistbands. The suspects then stole sneakers, headphones, and a wallet containing an undisclosed amount of cash, a bank card and personal items, before fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. Responding officers established a perimeter and searched the area for the suspects yielding negative results. The suspects are described as four Black males in their late teens to early-20’s, wearing all dark clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY, 2022-12110218, 700 block of N. Edgewood Street. At approximately 8:12 p.m. on December 11, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers established a perimeter and took three juvenile females into custody without incident as they exited the home. No items were reported stolen. Petitions are pending for the three juvenile suspects.
BURGLARY (Late), 2022-12090261, 900 block of Army Navy Drive. At approximately 9:52 p.m. on December 9, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined between approximately 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., the unknown suspect(s) entered into the victim’s residence and stole multiple credit cards. During the course of the investigation, the victim discovered fraudulent transactions on his credit cards. No other items were reported stolen from the residence and no damage was reported. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY (late), 2022-12110101, 900 block of N. Stuart Street. At approximately 10:04 a.m. on December 11, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined between approximately 8:45 p.m. on December 10 and 9:00 a.m. on December 11, an unknown suspect(s) gained entry the victims’ residence and stole a wallet and purse containing credit cards before fleeing the scene. During the course of the investigation, the victims discovered fraudulent charges on their credit cards. The suspect is described as a Black male, medium build, wearing a black hoodie, black jacket and light blue pants. The investigation is ongoing.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 2022-12110243, 800 block of S. Frederick Street. At approximately 10:51 p.m. on December 11, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined between approximately 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. an unknown suspect(s) attempted to force entry into a residence. No items were reported stolen. There are no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
