Before joining ACERS, she was the investments director at a public university system in California, responsible for management and oversight of more than $100 billion in assets across defined benefit & contribution, endowment, working capital, and captive insurance products. "I am honored to join ACERS and do the best possible for the County and its employees to further the objectives and achievements of Arlington County," Ms. Ardeshir said.
Ms. Ardeshir will be the first woman to lead the organization and succeeds Daniel Zito, who is retiring after 13 years with ACERS.
