REPORTS


BURGLARY, 2020-12290206, 600 block of N. Glebe Road. At approximation 8:54 p.m. on December 29, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary in progress. Arriving officers established a perimeter, located the suspect inside the residence, and took him into custody without incident. The investigation determined that the suspect allegedly forced entry to a residence, causing damage. Nothing was reported missing from the residence. Martell Eason, 33, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Burglary

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 2020-12290235, 2300 block of Pershing Drive. At approximately 11:30 p.m. on December 29, police were dispatched to the report of an alarm. Upon arrival, it was determined that two suspects broke the window to a business, causing the alarm to activate. The suspects then fled in a vehicle prior to police arrival, without entering the business. Nothing was reported missing from the business. Suspect One is described as a Black male, approximately 5'10", slightly overweight, wearing all black. Suspect Two is described as a Black male, approximately 5'10", skinny, wearing all black. The vehicle is described as a dark blue Volkswagen Jetta. The investigation is ongoing.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY (late), 2020-12280187, 3800 block of Nelly Custis Drive. On December 28, an online report filed for vandalism was determined to be an attempted burglary based upon review by officers. Upon speaking with the reporting party, it was determined that between 12:00 a.m. and 12:27 a.m. on December 27, an unknown suspect(s) damaged exterior fixtures on the victim's property and attempted to gain entry to the residence. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.

PEEPING, 2020-12300001, 700 block of S. Greenbrier Street. At approximately 11:59 p.m. on December 29, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victims observed the unknown male suspect looking into the window of their residence. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a male, wearing a grey sweater, and grey pants. The investigation is ongoing.
