REPORTS
BURGLARY, 2019-06030009, 1300 block of S. Taylor Street. At approximately 1:32 a.m. on June 3, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victims were inside their residence when they were awoken by a loud crash. They located the known suspect, who had used an object to shatter multiple window panes and attempt to enter the residence. The suspect verbally threatened the victims. A physical confrontation ensued between one victim and the suspect, preventing him from entering the residence and prompting him to flee prior to police arrival. The victim suffered minor injuries that did not require medical treatment. Arriving officers canvased the area with negative results. A warrant for Burglary with Intent to Commit Assault and Battery was issued for the suspect.
