REPORTS

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 2017-10310080, 1300 block of Lee Highway. At approximately 9:51 a.m. on October 31, police were dispatched to the report of an attempted strong arm robbery. Upon arrival it was determined that a known male suspect approached the victim in a park and demanded money. The suspect pushed the victim to the ground and attempted to grab the money from his hand. A witness yelled at the suspect, who then fled on foot. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'10 and skinny, with shoulder-length blonde hair, blue eyes and a tattoo on the right side of his neck. The suspect was wearing dark, baggy pants and a hat. The investigation is ongoing.
