REPORTS
ATTEMPTED ARMED ROBBERY, 2017-07120312, 2600 block of 12
th Street S. At approximately 11:10 p.m. on July 12, officers responded to the report of an attempted armed robbery which had just occurred. The victims were inside a parked vehicle when an unknown male suspect approached them on foot, displayed a knife and demanded cash. When the victim's advised they did not have any cash, the suspect fled the scene. Arriving officers established a perimeter and searched the area with negative results. The suspect is described as a black male, 30-40 years old with a skinny build. He was wearing a red shirt and dark shorts at the time of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
