REPORTSLATE POLICE INFORMATION, 160526019, 1300 block of of N. Stafford Street. At approximately 3:30 p.m., on May 25, a female juvenile victim was walking in the area when a vehicle passed her traveling in the same direction. The vehicle slowed and appeared to be waiting for her. The juvenile victim turned around and walked in the opposite direction. The juvenile victim reported seeing the vehicle in the area on two additional occasions. On one occasion, the driver sounded his horn to gain the attention of the female victim and her friends. On another occasion, the vehicle was parked and the driver appeared to be watching her. The male subject is described as a heavy set Hispanic, Middle Eastern or Italian male, possibly in his 50s with thinning black hair, big lips and small rimmed sunglasses. He was driving a newer model light blue, dark blue or black model sedan.
HIT AND RUN, 160527072, 3700 block of S. Columbia Pike. At approximately 11:25 p.m. on May 27, a male victim chased after a suspect who left a restaurant without paying his tab. The victim approached the suspect's vehicle and they began to exchange words regarding the incident. The male suspect attempted to drive away and the victim stood in front of the vehicle in an effort to prevent him from leaving. The male suspect then struck the victim with his vehicle, drove over the victim's legs and fled the scene. The victim's injuries were non-life threatening. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his twenties, approximately 6'0" tall and weighed 180 lbs. He was wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, and had a sleeve tattoo on his right arm.
MISSILE INTO OCCUPIED DWELLING, 160528039, 2400 block of S. Lowell Street. At approximately 4:47 p.m. on May 28, following a verbal altercation, a male suspect threw a rock through a window of a residence. Jeffrey Todd Manley, 52, of Arlington VA, was arrested and charged with throwing a missile into an occupied dwelling and destruction of property. He is being held on a secured bond.
SHOOTING A MISSILE AT AN OCCUPIED VEHICLE, 160527023, 2900 block of S. Glebe Road. At approximately 11:30 a.m. on May 27, a male suspect brandished a bb gun and shot a female victim's front windshield. The suspect's vehicle is described as a dark gray Ford F-150 with the license plate VAA6482. The vehicle had three Hispanic males inside.
BURGLARY, 160527008, 900 block of S. 15
th Street. Between 11:00 p.m. on May 27 and 4:00 a.m. on May 28, an unknown suspect entered a residence through a window and stole two wallets. At approximately 1:06 a.m. on May 28, the suspect used the stolen credit cards at a CVS to buy several gift cards. The suspect is described as a slim black male wearing a white hat, blue jean jacket, dark jeans, and white shoes.
LATE BURGLARY, 160529011, 1600 block of S. Joyce Street. Between 12:00 p.m. on May 1 and 3:00 p.m. on May 26, an unknown suspect(s) entered a residence and stole several items of value. There is no suspect(s) description.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 160528006, 3100 block of N. 10
th Street. At approximately 1:35 a.m. on May 28, a male suspect was found inside a vehicle he had tampered with in the back parking lot of a fire station. The suspect had tampered with several vehicles in the area. Delonte Hall, 22, was arrested and charged with unlawful entry and drunk in public.
ATTEMPTED MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 160527035, 1400 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 1:56 p.m. on May 27, a loss prevention officer attempted to apprehend two suspects for shoplifting, causing the suspects to flee and enter a vehicle. The suspects then attempted to run over the loss prevention officer and a police officer with the vehicle. The suspects fled the scene in a silver Nissan Altima with the stolen merchandise. The first suspect is described as a black female in her twenties, approximately 5'6" tall and weighed 140 lbs. She was wearing a brown hat, white and black striped dress, and brown shoes. The second suspect is described as a black female in her twenties, approximately 5'5" tall and weighed 180 lbs. She was wearing a black long sleeved shirt, faded blue jeans, and dark shoes.
