ROBBERY, 2022-09140165, 1500 block of S. Fern Street. At approximately 3:48 p.m. on September 14, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery just occurred. A lookout was broadcast and officers located the two male suspects in the area and took them into custody without incident. The investigation determined the two suspects allegedly entered the business and began to conceal merchandise when they were confronted by an employee. The suspects left the business without the merchandise and a short time later, returned and became involved in a verbal dispute with the employee. The suspects then threatened the employee, implying they had a firearm and physically assaulted him before stealing his cellphone and fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. Kenneth Johnson, 31, of Washington, D.C., and Anthony Buzzanca, 29, of Washington, D.C., were arrested and charged with Robbery. The two suspects were held without bond.

BURGLARY (late), 2022-09140108, 4000 block of 40th Street N. At approximately 11:57 a.m. on September 14, police were dispatched to the late report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined between approximately 11:00 p.m. on September 13 and 8:30 a.m. on September 14, the unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence through an unsecured door and stole a wallet and personal items. The suspect(s) also entered and rummaged through the victim’s vehicle but nothing was reported stolen. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.
