All County departments are required to take reasonable steps to ensure that residents with limited English proficiency can access programs, services and activities — regardless of the availability of federal funds. This includes providing interpretation and written translations.
County demographics and frequency of use establishes which foreign languages we service. Each Department determines the language to use based on program use by participants.
Residents who believe they have been denied access to a County program, service or activity because of limited English proficiency can file a complaint with the Office of Human Rights.
