Construction Update, June 18, 2018
- Construction of the project has reached substantial completion, with a review of the work by county staff this week.
About the Project
Street improvement and pedestrian safety project on S Courthouse Rd, focusing on the intersection with 12th St S. The project scope includes:
- Installation of curb extensions, additional feet of sidewalk, ADA compliant ramps, and repairs to portions of the existing sidewalk and driveway aprons,
- Reduction in on-street parking by approximately one space,
- Existing utility poles and lights on the east side of S Courthouse Rd will not be relocated due to lack of right-of-way, and in the interest of preserving mature trees.
