Construction Update: 5/19

Contractor crews will be on site next week, May 24th- May 27th to begin the repaving work. Residents should expect partial road closures and flaggers onsite to direct traffic as needed.

Also, the raingarden is nearing completion. We are still waiting for a delivery of plants needed for the perimeter of the raingarden.

As always, this schedule is weather dependent and is subject to change due to any unforeseen issues that may surface during construction. We will do our best to keep you updated and will send additional updates as they arise.

Construction Update: 3/25/22

The contractor has completed all curb and gutters on site. The next big step in the project will be to begin re-paving of the intersection which will likely happen in the next couple of weeks. When this begins, residents should expect partial road closures and flaggers onsite to direct traffic as needed. We will do our best to notify you as soon as we can of when this will take place.

At this time, the raingarden will be on pause until about mid-April which is when we anticipate being able to start the plantings.

As always, this schedule is weather dependent and is subject to change due to any unforeseen issues that may surface during construction. We will do our best to keep you updated and will send additional updates as they arise.

Construction Update: 2/18/22

A contractor crew will be working on Monday February 21 (Presidents Day). The crew will be pouring the structure tops for the storm drains on the corners of 901 N Larrimore and 5975 N Larrimore. The rest of the week, crews will be excavating the rain garden on the corner of 5975 N Larrimore.

Construction Update: 2/15/22

The Water Sewer Streets bureau is currently onsite and has discovered that there are a series of valves that will affect more households than originally anticipated—an emergency water shut off is required. This was unforeseen and we hope to restore any water shutoffs as quickly as possible.

Construction Update: 2/11/22

Water service will be impacted next Tuesday, February 15th.  The homes that will be affected by the shut off are along the 9th St N cul-de-sac. Affected homes will be receiving notices from the contractor to make them aware of this disruption.

At this time, we are still awaiting shipment of materials to complete the work on the corner of 5975 N Larrimore (the raingarden area). As soon as the contractor receives the remining items, they will resume work on the raingarden.

Please note, this schedule is weather dependent and is subject to change due to any unforeseen issues that may surface during construction. We will do our best to keep you updated and will send additional updates as they arise!

Construction Update: 1/18/22

All driveways/driveway aprons and the majority of sidewalk, curb and gutters have been poured. Contractors will be on site early next week completing some restoration work.

Given a delay in the shipment of some materials, work on the corner of 5975 N Larrimore (the raingarden area) will be delayed. By Tuesday of next week, we anticipate that crews will be temporarily moved to another site and there will be 1-1.5 week(s) of construction inactivity. Once the contractor receives the supplies needed, crews will return to the site to complete the work.

Please note, this schedule is weather dependent and is subject to change due to any unforeseen issues that may surface during construction. We will do our best to keep you updated and will send additional updates as they arise.

Construction Update: 1/13/22

The sidewalk construction on the corner of 868 N Larrimore should be finishing up this week and next week the contractors will move to the final sidewalk section of the project (5979 9th St to 912 N Larrimore). If your driveway will be affected, contractors will/or have been in touch with each homeowner to give notice.

Water service will also impacted within 1-2 weeks in order to relocate the existing fire hydrant (Corner of 5975 N Larrimore). Not all homes will be affected by the shutoff. We are coordinating with the Water, Sewer, and Streets department to pinpoint affected homes. Affected homes will be given notice of water shutoff 48 hours prior.

Please note, this schedule is weather dependent and is subject to change due to any unforeseen issues that may surface during construction. We will do our best to keep you updated and will send additional updates as they arise.
