DMV Select

This DMV Select Office is open to the public for walk-ins and for appointments Monday through Friday, 9:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.  However, all title transactions (limit of 2 per customer) must be completed by 3:45 p.m.  All title transactions will require an appointment.

For appointments, DMV Select customers are able to book a half-hour in-person appointment.  Additional time may be requested. Cancellations must be made at least one business day in advance. Government-issued ID card must be presented for all transactions.

No appointments are required for other transactions, including:

Registration renewals, 

Handicapped placards, 

License plate surrender, 

Address changes or 

E-Z Passes. 

Please Note: This DMV Select office cannot issue Driver’s Licenses (including Medical Cards for CDL’s), Photo IDs, Vital Records documents, process insurance verifications, or process Online and Franchise Dealership work.  Also, this office DOES NOT Title Imported Vehicle(s) relocated to Virginia.

• Titles: Original, Substitute, Replacement, or Maintenance (All title transactions will require an appointment. Title transactions will be limited to 2 transactions per appointment.)

• Vehicle Registration: Original, Renewal, Transfer, Reissue, Surrender (Form VSA14)

•  Issue License Plates (including Special and Personalized plates) (Form VSA14)*

• Original Handicapped Parking Placards (Form MED10)*

• Driver Transcript Requests (Form CRD93)*

• Address changes that do not involve the issuance of a Driver’s License or ID card (Form ISD 01)*

• Voter Registration applications

For payments, only credit/debit card payments will be accepted. No cash or checks will be accepted until further notice.

Hours

It has come to our attention that some customers, having recently registered a vehicle with Arlington County, are receiving solicitations from companies for services such as extended warranties. Because these companies have specific information on the vehicles in question, some people are concerned that they are getting the information from Arlington. This is not the case. All customer account information is treated with the utmost privacy in accordance with the Code of Virginia.  We do not sell or rent our customers’ information to any outside company or organization, nor do we reveal specific information about customers or other personally identifiable data to unaffiliated third parties for their independent use.
