Moving Visions was digital public art documentary exploring freedom in post 9/11 Arlington. Ten individuals documented their experiences for a single day by wearing small video cameras (wearcams) on their heads. The resulting video footage was made public through large-scale outdoor projections in Arlington. Individuals who wore the wearcams were:

  • Sharifa Al-Khateeb, President of the North American Council for Muslim Women
  • Ryan and Barry Amundson, human rights activists           
  • Raymond Blankenship, Battalion Fire Chief
  • Marshawn Evans, 2002 Miss America 3rd runner-up and law student
  • Paul Ferguson, County Board Chair                                                                 
  • René Rivera, day laborer
  • Zaid Safdar, Muslim student facing deportation               
  • Kathryn Holt Springston, local historian               
  • Madame Tes, Cambodian Dance Heritage Inc. Artistic Director
