Spout Run Stormwater Improvements

The Spout Run watershed(PDF, 25MB)  is one of the critical watersheds identified for stormwater capacity improvements. The watershed includes the Waverly Hills and Cherrydale Civic Associations, Woodstock Park, and other surrounding areas.

This watershed-scale, blended approach will include distributed detention(PDF, 2MB), overland relief through property acquisition, and pipe expansion and tertiary infrastructure(PDF, 1MB) .  Stormwater Staff and engineers have modeled a dozen conceptual plans for watershed-scale solutions that test a variety of blended engineering approaches.

Engagement

Stormwater staff has met with the Waverly Hills and Cherrydale Civic Associations multiple times from Spring 2018 and continuing today.
