Description

Partner/SHIFT (Shaping Healthy Interactions For Tomorrow) is facilitated by the Department of Human Services and aims to eliminate intimate partner violence in the Arlington community by providing educational and supportive group and individual sessions to address unsafe and unhealthy relationship behaviors . Partner/SHIFT staff present information which can help people end their abusive and violent behavior. Partner/SHIFT is much more than anger management. Partner/SHIFT serves the partners who have used violence, coercive or controlling behaviors with a dating, intimate partner, or spouse. Participants may be referred by the Courts or they can self-refer using this referral form

Partner/SHIFT  is a Virginia State Certified "Batterers Intervention Program" and was formerly knows as AIP: Arlington's Abuser Intervention Program.
