WE PAUSED! Unbound
June 2022 - May 2023
A year long exhibit is response to a project WE PAUSED!  A Handmade Book by Studio Pause for Gate of Ballston, which chronicled a year of the COVID 19 epidemic through the eye of participating local artists. The book has been turned into an art exhibit with four thematic installations. The exhibit is sponsored by Arlington Arts.

Places In Paper
September 9 – December 17, 2019
“Places in Paper” an exhibit by the Guild of American Papercutters (GAP). The show featured the work of thirty-four artists from seventeen states and Lithuania who all use cut paper in their artwork.  Visitors saw an astounding variety of papercutting, including Polish, Jewish, Indonesian, and Chinese styles, as well as photorealist, sculptural, and silhouette techniques. 

 Eco+Creativity – April 8 – June 9, 2019
This exhibition featured students at Arlington Public School’s H-B Woodlawn Secondary Program, grades 7 to 12.

Spectacularly Solid – January 9 – March 31, 2019
A celebration of the art of contemporary quilt making, curated by the Arlington CostumeLab with the DC Modern Quilt Guild.

Nature’s Grasp - A PRINTMAKING PORTFOLIO – August 17 through late December 2018.
An international invitational portfolio print exchange consisting of 18 highly respected artists from across the United States and Canada. Co-organized by Steven Munoz, Director of Lee Arts Center and Jun Lee, Lee Arts Center Artist in Residence.

Arlington Weaves, Etc. “Textiles & Tools”  – November 9, 2017 – December 9, 2017 
A signature program of Arlington Department of Human Services and implemented by ServiceSource, Arlington Weaves, Etc. is an established Made in Arlington vendor. Arlington Weaves, Etc. provides support to adults with developmental disabilities by teaching them technical and social skills and by helping to improve their self-sufficiency. Participants in this unique program produce sophisticated hand-woven items ranging from traditional fine art to yoga mat strap, tea towels and event weekend tote bags.
