Summer Arts Camps 2024

When “Summer Camp” for youth comes to mind, most of us probably think of canoeing on a lake, or hiking through mountainous terrain. However, a number of Arlington arts organizations offer young people an adventure in their own creativity through the arts! Each of the community organizations below are grantee organizations that receive funding through Arlington Cultural Affairs.

Whether through movement, visual art, film, or theatre, here are several choices from the County and well-known Arlington-based presenters.

Arlington County Parks and Recreation

  • Creative Arts Camp: In this enriching, full-day program, campers experiment with exciting art materials and techniques including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and collage. We emphasize creativity and imagination with a special focus on skill building. Each session has its own theme and activities.
  • Teen Art Bootcamps: In these half-day, specialized programs teens are introduced to the fundamentals of metal jewelry making, pottery, or woodworking.

Plus many other community partner camps!
