2/15/21 – New Website!
February is heart health month!

Join our February HCAT coalition meeting to hear an update from the Arlington Pediatric Clinic on their efforts to provide medical and mental health services to children in low income families. Maria Slattery will also share how APS Health and Physical Education staff are keeping kids active during virtual learning and we will hear presentations from two dietetic interns at Virginia Cooperative Extension and Northern Virginia Family Service on heart health topics.

HCAT is a member of the Arlington Living Schoolyard Initiative to support outdoor learning when in-person learning returns in March 2021. For more information on this initiative and to add your voice to this effort:

1) Sign onto our letter of support for outdoor learning in Arlington.

2) Complete our Arlington Outdoor Learning information form.

3) Learn more about the National COVID-19 Outdoor Learning Initiative and the resources and support that are available for outdoor learning by visiting their website.

4) Read the Arlington Living Schoolyard Initiative draft white paper.
