The Community Engagement Division (CED), led by Deputy Chief Wayne Vincent, works with the business, youth and residential communities to build and maintain strong partnerships with those we serve through proactive engagement. The CED is comprised of three units – Business Outreach, Youth Outreach and Community Outreach – which work with their respective stakeholders to address public safety concerns and further the Department's efforts to improve transportation safety and implement crime prevention and control initiatives.

Apply for ACPD's Summer Camps

The Community Engagement Division's (CED), Youth Outreach Unit (YOU) is now accepting applications for the Summer Safety Patrol Camp. This program focus on education, relationship-building and positive youth development, while ensuring participants enjoy a fun-filled and safe summer.

Youth Outreach Unit

The Youth Outreach Unit works to proactively engage youth and partner with community organizations to develop programs and outreach opportunities that encourage positive youth development.

Business Outreach Unit

The Business Outreach Unit builds and maintains strong partnerships with business community stakeholders through proactive engagement to improve safety and further the Department’s key initiatives.

Community Outreach Unit

The Community Outreach Unit was created to promote community-based partnerships and foster police interaction and cooperation with those we serve. The Community Outreach Unit is divided into two teams; a North Arlington Team and a South Arlington Team. The outreach teams engage with the community, conduct seasonal donation drives, work proactively with businesses.
