STEP 1: Choose Your Pass
You now have two options for enjoying our engaging 55+ programs! Get the 55+ Pass for access to free or discounted programs and classes. Looking to enhance your physical fitness too? Upgrade to the 55+ Gold Pass to access Arlington Community Center fitness facilities (except Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center) in addition to other benefits of the 55+ Pass.
Note: Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center senior membership are not associated with the 55+ Program (including the 55+ Pass or 55+ Gold pass). Learn the difference between Long Bridge memberships and other Parks & Recreation memberships.
Please note that starting on July 1, 2024, fees for the 55+ Pass and 55+ Gold Pass will increase by $5 for all Arlington County and out-of-county participants.

STEP 2: Sign up
There are several ways to sign up for the 55+ Pass or 55+ Gold Pass:
- ONLINE: Register or renew an existing membership online. You will need a log-in ID and password to use the online system and pay with a credit card. Call 703-228-4747 (option 3) with questions.
- New 55+pass holders will receive a key fob in the mail. Until you receive your key fob, please use your receipt as proof of registration.
- If you are renewing your 55+ pass with us, you will continue to use your existing key fob. You only receive a new key fob if you request a replacement card during the renewal process.
- IN-PERSON: Visit one of our 55+ Centers that are open, or the Office of 55+ Programs main office located at 300 N. Park Drive (DPR Administrative Services is also available to assist at this location).

- MAIL: Download the 55+ Pass Registration Form(PDF, 290KB) and mail it in to: DPR Administrative Services, 300 N. Park Drive, Arlington VA 22203 or send by e-mail: registration@arlingtonva.us
STEP 3: Use Your Pass
Check out our 55+ Guide for upcoming programs and 55+ happenings. With your 55+ Pass, you can register for programs and activities — Pre-registration and 55+ Pass are required to participate. Please make sure to note down registration start dates, in order to register and reserve your spot for a program.
Once you have signed up for your 55+ Pass (or 55+ Gold Pass), you can register for programs online, in-person or by phone.
- ONLINE: Visit registration.arlingtonva.us or link directly to the registration system when viewing the digital 55+ Guide. After registration has opened, just click on the blue Registration Number for the program that you are interested in.
- IN-PERSON: Visit one of our 55+ Centers that are open, or the Office of 55+ Programs main office located at 300 N. Park Drive (DPR Administrative Services is also available to assist at this location).

Drop-Ins & Registration
Drop-in classes are ongoing programs that participants can join anytime with a valid 55+ Pass. Any program listed as a drop-in does not require pre-registration. All programs have a capacity limit and may fill up. Unless designated as drop-in, all programs require pre-registration. Registration automatically closes two business days prior to the start of the program. For questions, contact the Administrative Services Office at 703-228-4747.
