Adapted Aquatics The Adapted Aquatics program needs volunteers! Adapted Aquatics is a learn-to-swim program for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Volunteers will work one-on-one with participants in the water to strengthen and develop basic swim skills. Volunteers must be strong swimmers, comfortable in the water and enthusiastic about helping people learn.
Summer Camps Summer camps are a wonderful opportunity for teens who want to have fun while giving back to their community. Volunteers assist the camp staff in all the fun and exciting activities campers enjoy, including field trips, arts and crafts, swimming, games and more. If you are seeking a professional or personal development opportunity, volunteering can be extremely rewarding. It is an opportunity to make friends, work with children in a supervised setting and gain valuable experience in a leadership role. Learn more here.
As we restart programs and reopen community centers, more volunteer opportunities will become available. We encourage you to visit our website often for updates. Thank you for your willingness to serve the Arlington community.
