Athletic Fields

  • Do not use any Arlington Park facility, including fields, if you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • Wash your hands before and after you play; avoid touching your face. Players are encouraged to wear gloves when possible.
  • When possible, only play with family members or those who live in your household.
  • Do not share equipment, water bottles or snacks. Store equipment bags six feet apart.
  • Avoid touching screens, nets, gates and goals when possible.
  • Avoid high fives and touching other players.
  • No spitting, eating or chewing gum.

Park Rules

  • Do not hang out on the fields. As soon as you come, start playing; as soon as you are done playing, leave.

Basketball Courts

  • Do not use any Arlington Park facility, including basketball courts, if you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • Six feet of physical distancing must be maintained by all participants and spectators, with the exception of incidental contact or contact between members of the same household.
  • Spectators must be limited to parents, guardians or caretakers supervising children and other children in their care.
  • Limit use of basketball courts to non-contact games.
  • Wearing a cloth face mask is encouraged to slow the spread of COVID-19.
  • Wash your hands before and after you visit.
  • When possible, only play with family members or those who live in your household.
  • No spitting, chewing gum or sharing snacks.

Park Rules

  • Do not hang out at the court, play as soon as space is available, and as soon as you are done leave.

Batting Cages

  • Do not use any Arlington Park facility, including batting cages, if you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • Wash your hands before and after you play; avoid touching your face. Players are encouraged to wear gloves when possible.
  • When possible, only play with family members or those who live in your household.
  • Only one pitcher and one batter are allowed in batting cages at one time.
  • Maintain a distance of six feet from others when using batting cages.
  • Clean bats and grips between trips to the batting cage.
  • Do not share bats, water bottles or helmets.
  • Use your feet to gather balls as much as possible to avoid the spread of germs.
  • Avoid touching batting nets and screens when possible.
  • No spitting, chewing gum or sharing snacks.

Park Rules

  • Batting cages are not open for instruction, leagues, organized activities or special events.
  • Play for 60 minutes or less.

Bocce

  • Do not use any Arlington Park facility, including bocce courts, if you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • Wash your hands before and after you play; avoid touching your face.
  • When possible, only play with family members or those who live in your household.
  • Clean and wipe down water bottles and balls. Do not share equipment.
  • No spitting, chewing gum or sharing snacks.
  • Do not alternate court sides during matches.
  • If possible, use feet to kick balls to opposing players.

Park Rules

  • Do not hang out on the courts. As soon as you come, start playing; as soon as you are done playing, leave.

  • Play for 90 minutes or less.

Community Gardens

  • Do not use any Arlington Park facility, including community gardens, if you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • Wash your hands before and after you visit; avoid touching your face.
  • When possible, only visit gardens with family members or those who live in your household.
  • Maintain a distance of six feet from other users; don’t gather in groups.
  • Avoid sharing tools, such as trowels or shovels, equipment or water bottles with other users.
  • Wipe down tool handles between use at the community garden.
  • No spitting, chewing gum or sharing snacks.
  • Do not hang out in the garden. As soon as you get there, start gardening; as soon as you are done, leave.

Disc Golf

  • Do not use any Arlington Park facility, including the disc golf course, if you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • Wash your hands before and after you visit; avoid touching your face.
  • When possible, only play with family members or those who live in your household.
  • Maintain a distance of six feet from other users; don’t gather in groups.
  • Do not share equipment, water bottles, snacks or bags.
  • Do not touch other people’s discs.

Park Rules

  • Play in groups of four or less.
  • Putts inside five-meters are considered “Gimmies.”
  • Do not putt-out within five-meters.
  • The course is not open for special events, leagues or organized activities.

Dog Parks

  • Do not use any Arlington Park facility, including dog parks, if you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • Wearing a cloth face mask is encouraged to slow the spread of COVID-19.
  • Wash your hands before and after you visit; avoid touching your face.
  • When possible, only socialize with family members or those who live in your household.
  • Maintain a distance of six feet from other users; don’t gather in groups.
  • Don’t touch entry gate, bag stations, trash cans or other surfaces with your bare hands. Use gloves or cover your hand with a dog waste bag first.
  • Refrain from petting dogs other than your own.
  • No spitting, chewing gum or sharing snacks.

Park Rules

  • Do not hang out in the dog park; limit your visit to 30 minutes.
  • Hours of operation may be limited upon reopening.

Fitness Centers & Gymnasiums

  • No one can enter the building without first reviewing the list of symptoms and informing staff of your responses.
  • Face coverings must be worn at all times, except when exercising.
  • Follow directional signage. Entries and exits will be different than you are used to.
  • Only two people can enter a restroom at one time.
  • Limit your time on the fitness equipment to 30 minutes; limit your total workout to 60 minutes.
  • Limit your drop-in sports play to 60 minutes. Do not linger after your game has ended.
  • Bring your own pickleballs, basketballs and volleyballs.
  • No food or snacks.
  • Locker rooms, sauna and showers are closed

Pickleball Courts

  • Do not use any Arlington Park facility, including pickleball courts, if you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, or if you have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • Wash your hands before and after you play; avoid touching your face. Players are encouraged to wear gloves when possible.
  • When possible, only play with family members or those who live in your household.
  • Clean and wipe down water bottles and paddles. Do not share equipment. If possible, re-tape paddle grips between playing.
  • No spitting, chewing gum, or sharing snacks.
  • Do not alternate court sides during matches. Avoid touching gates, nets, fences and benches.
  • Limit the number of balls on the court; use feet to kick balls to opposing players.

Park Rules

  • Court use is first-come, first-served; no court reservations are accepted at this time.

Picnic Shelters

  • Do not use any Arlington Park facility, including picnic shelters, if you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • Wash your hands before and after you visit; avoid touching your face.
  • When possible, only play with family members or those who live in your household.
  • Maintain a distance of six feet from other users.
  • Do not share equipment, water bottles or snacks.
  • Avoid touching gates or fences when you can.
  • No spitting or chewing gum.

Park Rules

  • Do not move tables.

Playgrounds

  • Do not use any Arlington Park facility, including playgrounds, if you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • Wash your hands before and after you play; avoid touching your face.
  • Six feet of physical distancing must be maintained by all participants and guardians. Avoid overcrowding the playground. If social distancing can’t be achieved, please wait to use the playground.
  • When possible, only play with family members or those who live in your household.
  • Spectators must be limited to parents, guardians or caretakers supervising children and other children in their care.
  • Wearing a cloth face mask is encouraged to slow the spread of COVID-19.Do not share water bottles; do not bring food to the playground.
  • No spitting, eating or chewing gum.

Restrooms

  • Do not use any Arlington Park facility, including restrooms, if you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • Wash your hands before and after you use the restroom; avoid touching your face.
  • Wearing a cloth face mask is encouraged to slow the spread of COVID-19.
  • Limit the number of restroom patrons. If the restroom is full, wait outside for someone to leave before entering.

Skate Park

  • Do not use any Arlington Park facility, including the skate park, if you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • Wash your hands before and after you visit; avoid touching your face.
  • Maintain a distance of six feet from other users.
  • Face coverings are recommended.
  • Do not share equipment or water bottles. Store equipment bags six feet apart.
  • Avoid touching gates or fences when you can.
  • No spitting, chewing gum or sharing snacks.

Park Rules

  • Do not hang out in the skate park. As soon as you come, start skating; as soon as you are done, leave.

Tennis Courts

  • Do not use any Arlington Park facility, including tennis courts, if you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, or if you have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • Wash your hands before and after you play; avoid touching your face.
  • When possible, only play with family members or those who live in your household.
  • Clean and wipe down water bottles and racquets. Do not share equipment.
  • No spitting, chewing gum, or sharing snacks.
  • Do not alternate court sides during matches.
  • Avoid touching gates, nets, fences and benches.
  • Limit the number of balls on the court; play with no more than two cans.
  • If possible, players should serve with opposite numbered balls and use feet to kick balls to opposing players.

Park Rules

Tracks

  • Do not use any Arlington Park facility, including tracks, if you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • Wash your hands before and after you visit; avoid touching your face.
  • Maintain a distance of six feet from other users.
  • Before your workout, clean equipment you may use like poles or projectiles.
  • Do not share equipment or water bottles. Store equipment bags six feet apart.
  • Avoid touching gates or fences when you can.
  • No spitting, chewing gum, or sharing snacks.

Park Rules

  • Do not hang out on the track. As soon as you come, start working out; as soon as you are done, leave.
  • Tracks are not open for instruction, leagues, organized activities or special events.

Trails

All Trails:

  • Do not use any Arlington Park facility, including trails, if you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • Wash your hands often and avoid touching shared surfaces.
  • Wear a mask or face covering in public where physical distancing is difficult to maintain.
  • Maintain a distance of six feet from other users; don’t gather in groups.
  • When possible, only use a trail with family members or those who live in your household.
  • Do not share water bottles or snacks.
  • No spitting, eating or chewing gum.
  • Keep right and pass on the left.
  • Give an audible warning before passing.

Paved, Multi-use Trails:

  • Pedestrians have the right of way.
  • E-scooters, e-bikes, scooters, and regular bikes are allowed on the trails
  • Control your speed.
  • Obey traffic rules and signs
  • When stopping, move off the trail.
  • Keep dogs on a short leash.
  • Use lights and reflectors when it’s dark.

Natural Trails:

  • Always keep dogs on a leash.
  • No power-driven devices.
  • Stay on designated paths, no bushwhacking.
  • No bicycles.
  • Do not pick vegetation.
  • Do not remove natural objects.
  • Do not approach wildlife.
  • Take only pictures and leave only footprints.

Volleyball Courts

  • Do not use any Arlington Park facility, including volleyball courts, if you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • Only play four vs four.
  • Competition that involves close contact with other athletes must be avoided.
  • Wash your hands before and after you visit; avoid touching your face.
  • Wearing a cloth face mask is encouraged to slow the spread of COVID-19.
  • Social distancing must be maintained by all participants and spectators, with the exception of incidental contact or contact between members of the same household.
  • Spectators must be limited to parents, guardians or caretakers supervising children and other children in their care.
  • Avoid touching gates or fences when you can.
  • No spitting, chewing gum or sharing snacks.

Park Rules

  • Do not hang out in the volleyball court.
