10th ANNUAL NBC4 HEALTH AND FITNESS EXPO

WHEREAS, the NBC4 Health and Fitness Expo will celebrate its 10th anniversary at the Washington Convention Center;

WHEREAS, this public health outreach event has been attended by more than half a million people over its first ten years;

WHEREAS, with its broad range of interactive fitness activities and demonstrations for visitors, the NBC4 Health and Fitness Expo provides valuable information to the public regarding choices which empower them to take action for their health;

WHEREAS, the NBC4 Health and Fitness Expo has significantly raised the awareness of people across the region on health and fitness issues that provide residents with tools for healthier lifestyles that can assist them in leading a better quality of life;

WHEREAS, this year’s Decades of Your Health feature will enable participants to focus on the various health challenges that occur during each decade of life and will provide resources to help meet those challenges;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Christian Dorsey, Chair of the County Board of Arlington, Virginia, do hereby proclaim our support for the events scheduled March 30, 2019, in honor of the

10th ANNUAL HEALTH AND FITNESS EXPO

and commend NBC4 Washington for its efforts to promote a healthier nation.
