Arlington Visual Arts Studio Tour

21 Sep 2024 59 Arlington art studios open their doors to the public for the 7th annual AVAST event, a joint effort of independent artists and volunteers. Featuring genres ranging from printmaking, jewelry, painting, weaving and fiber, and calligraphy, the self-guided tour allows participants to create their own itinerary to meet the artists in their maker spaces and see their work.

The Nature of Poetry Walk

28 Sep 2024 Join Courtney LeBlanc, Arlington’s Poet Laureate, for a short walk through Lubber Run Park. The walk will include several stops where the group will gather and Courtney will read a themed poem, followed by a brief discussion. The walk will end at the park’s amphitheater, where Courtney will provide a prompt and the group can write their own nature-inspired poem.
