REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2026-05200052, 800 block of S. Greenbrier Street. At approximately 8:40 a.m. on May 20, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the juvenile male victim was in a common area of a residential building when the two juvenile male suspects, who are known to him, approached. Suspect One struck the victim before he and Suspect Two stole clothing items and electronics from the victim’s backpack and fled the scene. The victim did not report any injuries. A lookout was broadcast and responding officers located the suspects in the area and following brief foot pursuits, they were taken into custody. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Suspect One and Two also robbed the same victim on May 6. Petitions for Robbery (x2) and Conspiracy to Commit a Felony (x2) were obtained for each suspect for the May 6 and May 20 incidents.

ASSAULT BY MOB (late), 2026-05200140, 5000 block of Chesterfield Road. At approximately 1:30 p.m. on May 20, police responded to Inova Alexandria Hospital for the late report of an assault. It was determined at approximately 12:50 p.m., the male victim exited a business in the 5000 block of Chesterfield Road when the seven juvenile male suspects in their teens approached him. Suspect One engaged the victim in conversation before the group assaulted the victim, causing him to fall to the ground. Suspect One stole the victim’s wallet and phone and subsequently discarded them before the group of suspects fled the scene on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries and self-reported to the hospital. The suspects are all described as thin-build Hispanic males, approximately 16-18 years old, 5’6”- 6’1”, some wearing face masks. The investigation is ongoing.
