Media Alert: Ukraine Remembrance

Arlington County Government invites members of the media to a remembrance as we stand united with Ukraine on the one-year anniversary of the Russian invasion. 

During the event, members of the Arlington County Board will offer remarks, the County's Honor Guard will raise the flag of Ukraine, and the national anthems of both the United States and Ukraine will be performed. The event is being held in solidarity with the Arlington Sister City Association (ASCA); one of Arlington's sister cities is Ivano-Frankivsk.

When: Friday, Feb. 24, 2023, at 10 a.m.

Where: Outside at Courthouse Plaza (in front of the Bozman Government Center flagpoles at 2100 Clarendon Blvd)
