REPORTS

INDECENT EXPOSURE/ASSAULT ON POLICE, 2023-09070286, 3600 block of 27^th Street S. At approximately 8:18 p.m. on September 7, police were dispatched to the report of an exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined the reporting party contacted police after observing the male suspect allegedly exposing himself. The responding officer made contact with the suspect and attempted to take him into custody during which he became combative and assaulted the officer. With the assistance of additional responding officers, the suspect was taken into custody. Michael Watkins, 44, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure, Assault on Police, Obstruction of Justice and Public Intoxication.

BURGLARY, 2023-09070089, 2000 block of N. Adams Street. At approximately 9:59 a.m. on September 7, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect made entry into the residential building’s laundry room and allegedly used a tool to steal coins from a laundry machine. Responding officers located the suspect on scene and he was taken into custody without incident. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the arrestee was the suspect in a previous burglary at the same building. Dennis Miller, 58, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Burglary (x2), Possession of Burglarious Tools, Destruction of Property and Petit Larceny.
