REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2023-09200033, 2nd Street S. at S. Wise Street. At approximately 3:40 a.m. on September 20, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the two male suspects entered the business, went behind the counter and stole merchandise and two cash registers containing an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects then fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle. Suspect One is described as a slim-build Black male, approximately 5’10”-6’0”, in his 20’s wearing a white hoodie, light-colored jeans, black shoes, a face mask and carrying a blue backpack. Suspect Two is described as a slim-build Black male, approximately 5’10”-6’0”, in his 20’s wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans, black shoes and a face mask. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2023-09190200, 2800 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 5:43 p.m. on September 19, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the two male suspects entered the business, acted disorderly, collected merchandise and left without payment. An employee filmed the suspects as they were leaving, during which one of the suspects struck the employee’s hand. The suspects then fled the scene with the stolen merchandise. Suspect One is described as a Black male, approximately 30-33 years old, 5’11”-6’0” with short hair wearing all-black clothing. Suspect Two is described as a Black male, approximately 30-33 years old, 5’11”-6’0”, wearing a blue shirt, gray pants and white shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2023-09190265, 4800 block of Old Dominion Drive. At approximately 10:38 p.m. on September 19, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined the reporting party observed the male suspect on video surveillance entering the under-construction residence. Responding officers established a perimeter, searched the residence and did not locate the suspect. No items were reported stolen from the home. The suspect is described as a white male wearing a short sleeve camo shirt and long sleeve white shirt. The investigation is ongoing.
ASSAULT BY MOB (late), 2023-09190130, S. Carlin Springs Road at 8th Road S. At approximately 12:21 p.m. on September 19, police were dispatched to the late report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined between approximately 2:25 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. on September 18, the two juvenile male victims were riding a public transit bus when a group of juvenile suspects assaulted them. The victims sustained minor injuries. There are no suspect descriptions. The investigation is ongoing.
