REPORTS

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 2023-11150158, 3500 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 1:30 p.m. on November 15, police were dispatched to the report of a person with a gun. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, demanded money and began acting disorderly when the employee declined. The suspect then allegedly began making threats to harm and collected merchandise. The employee called police before the suspect discarded the items and exited the business. Responding officers located the suspect on scene and took him into custody. The investigation determined no firearm was displayed during the incident. Kwame Martin, 46, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Attempted Robbery and Threats to Burn a Building. He was held without bond.

BURGLARY (late), 2023-11140043, 1600 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 7:11 a.m. on November 14, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined between approximately 7:30 p.m. on November 13 and 7:00 a.m. on November 14, the unknown suspect(s) made entry into the business, rummaged through the interior and stole electronics and personal property before leaving the scene. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY (late), 2023-11150200, 4400 block of 31st Street S. At approximately 4:06 p.m. on November 15, police were dispatched to the late report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined at approximately 3:00 p.m., the juvenile male victim was walking in the area when a silver sedan with three occupants, one of whom he was involved in an ongoing dispute with, pulled alongside him. The suspects exited the vehicle, assaulted the victim and attempted to steal his shoes before a witness approached and yelled at the suspects who then entered their vehicle and fled the scene. No injuries were reported. Suspect One is described as a thin-build Black male, approximately 19 years old, 6’0”, with a mustache wearing black pants and black shoes. Suspect Two is described as a Black male approximately 17-19 years old, 6’0”, wearing a white shirt, black pants and black shoes. The investigation is ongoing.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY (late), 2023-11150268, 2000 block of S. Eads Street. At approximately 8:08 p.m. on November 15, police were dispatched to the late report of an attempted breaking and entering. The preliminary investigation indicates between approximately November 12 and November 15, the unknown suspect(s) attempted to force entry into the victim’s residence. No entry was made into the apartment and no items were reported stolen. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
