REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2023-05150199, 100 block of S. Glebe Road. At approximately 6:26 p.m. on May 15, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the juvenile victim was walking in the area when he was approached by two suspects who demanded his personal property. The victim refused and the suspects punched him, stole his property and fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. Officers canvassed the area for the suspects yielding negative results. Suspect One is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s wearing a red shirt and shorts. Suspect Two is described as a Hispanic male wearing all black clothing and a backpack. The investigation is ongoing.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING (late), 2023-05150107, 1400 block of S. Joyce Street. At approximately 12:14 p.m. on May 15, police were dispatched to the Virginia Hospital Center for the late report of a dispute. Upon arrival, it was determined at approximately 10:00 a.m., the victim and suspect, who are known to each other, were inside a residence when they became involved in a verbal dispute, during which the suspect allegedly physically assaulted the victim. The suspect then left the scene. The victim self-reported to the hospital for further evaluation for her injuries. Warrants for Malicious Wounding, Strangulation and Assault and Battery were obtained for the suspect.

BURGLARY (late), 2023-05150078, 1400 block of Mckinley Road. At approximately 10:54 a.m. on May 15, police were dispatched to the late report of a larceny. Upon arrival, it was determined between approximately 5:00 p.m. on May 14 and 8:00 a.m. on May 15, the unknown suspect(s) made entry into a shed and stole tools. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
